During your use of Hik-SmartWall ("Software"),
your personal information may be collected and stored by your employer or the
entity you belong to ("Controller"). As the developer of this Software, we take
into account the data protection by design and by default principle when design
and develop it, to assist Controller process personal information in compliance
with applicable laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred
to as "Policy") has been designed to inform you how the Software enable
Controller process your personal information.
Please review this Policy before using the
Software. By installing or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have
agreed to the process of your personal information in accordance with the
Policy.
Collection and
Use of Your Information
When you use the Software, Controller may collect certain information about
you as described in this Policy. As permitted by applicable law or after
obtaining your prior consent, Controller may further collect personal
information that is necessary for your use of the Software provided by third
party. To better safeguard your rights and interests, should you have any
questions, please contact Controller.
The personal information that the Software
collect depends on your use of it. Here are more details on the categories of
personal information it collects when you using the Software:

Personal Information for Registration and Login
Controller shall assign an account to you for the
use of the Software.
When you register through quick login, the
Software will collect your account information which include username, password,
device IP, device port.
When you register through account login, the
Software will collect your username, password, Platform IP, Platform port.

Device Control
When you use device basic configuration, video
wall control, broadcast control, and central control system functions, the Software
won't collect any of your information and no permissions is needed for grant.
Controller shall use the personal information
collected in accordance with the provisions of this Policy and for the purpose
of realizing the corresponding functions of the Software.
Sharing of Personal Information
HIKVISION
do not collect or access personal information, thus we are unable to share
personal information with third parties. However, the Software has integrated
certain third party tools in the form of software development kits (SDKs) which
may collect certain information directly from the Software. We will conduct
strict security check before integrate such SDK. If we are informed of any non-compliance
of the SDK, we will request immediately third party for correction or replace
such SDK. You are also advised to implement any Software updates to the latest
version.
Controller
may share personal information with third parties, for example,

its
affiliates who are required to use that information in accordance with the
purposes described in this Policy.

providers, vendors, technicians and other third-parties to help it process,
store, and protect some of your data.

that are required by mandatory law to do so. For example, to comply with legal
orders and government requests; response to a subpoena, or similar legal
process, including to law enforcement agencies, regulators, and courts.
You are also advised to consult Controller for
the details of the sharing (if any). Controller shall not sell any
personal information to third parties, unless your express consent are
obtained.
Securing Your Information
Controller
shall set the retention period of data based on duration necessary for
management purposes or to fulfill the processing purpose. Upon expiration of
such retention periods, Controller shall delete or anonymize the personal information
in accordance with applicable laws.
Controller
shall implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical
security controls that are designed to safeguard personal information. They shall
also conduct periodic reviews and assessments of the effectiveness of their
security controls.
Notwithstanding
the above, no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can
be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. As a result, while Controller use
appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the information it
hold for you, it cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit
over the internet with the existing security technology.
In the
event of a security incident such as personal information breach, Controller shall
handle personal data breaches as required by applicable data protection laws
which includes, where required, notifying the breach to the relevant data
protection supervisory authority and data subjects.
Accessing, Correcting and Retention of
Your Personal Information
Your
personal information are stored by Controller until you delete or edit it, or
for as long as you are permitted by Controller to use the Software.
Depending
on where you are located and subject to limitations in applicable law, you have
certain rights in respect to your personal information, such as a right of
access, rectification, restriction, opposition, and portability. In order to
exercise your rights please contact Controller.
Transfer of Personal Information Outside
of Your Jurisdiction
Controller
may transfer your information outside of you jurisdiction per its
consideration. However, it shall do so in accordance with applicable laws and
regulation. The law, regulation, and standard of the country in which your
information is stored or processed may be different from those of your own
country. You have understood that the risks under applicable data protection
laws are different. You are also advised to contact Controller for more
information, such as if cross border transfer occurs and what mechanism it
carries.
Children's Privacy
The
software is not designed for Children's use. Children are not permitted to use the
Software. If you think the Software has collect children's information, please
report it to Controller.
